Ingredients
  

Chia Pudding Base

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup chia seeds
  • 1 tbsp pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 pinch salt

Instructions
 

Mix the Base

  • Add the almond milk, maple syrup, vanilla extract, and salt to a mixing bowl. Whisk until the sweetener is evenly mixed into the milk.

  • Add the chia seeds and whisk thoroughly so they are evenly dispersed instead of settling in one layer.

Chill and Serve

  • Let the mixture stand for 10 minutes, then whisk again to break up any clumps. Cover and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight.

  • Stir the chilled pudding before serving. Divide between two containers and add toppings such as fresh berries, sliced banana, coconut flakes, chopped nuts, or granola if desired.
