Ingredients
  

  • 3 tbsp black chia seeds 36 g
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk 180 mL; default: Almond Breeze Refrigerated Unsweetened Original
  • 1 scoop vanilla whey protein isolate 30 g; default: Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Isolate, Rich Vanilla
  • 1/4 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt 57 g; default: FAGE Total 0% Plain
  • 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/16 tsp fine sea salt

Instructions
 

  • Add the almond milk, Greek yogurt, whey protein isolate, vanilla extract, and salt to a 12-ounce glass jar. Whisk for 45 to 60 seconds until smooth and free of dry powder pockets.

  • Add the chia seeds and whisk for 30 seconds, reaching the base and edges of the jar so the seeds are evenly dispersed.

  • Leave the jar uncovered at room temperature for 10 minutes, until the mixture looks slightly thicker and the seeds are suspended through the liquid.

  • Whisk again for 30 seconds until the mixture is evenly speckled with no visible seed clusters.

  • Seal the jar and refrigerate at 40°F or below for at least 4 hours, or overnight, until thick and spoonable with no free liquid at the surface.
