A lightly flavored water made with lemon and a modest amount of Himalayan pink salt. This recipe makes two 1-cup servings and is not a fat-burning or detox drink.
1tablespoonfresh lemon juiceapproximately half a lemon
1teaspoonraw honey or maple syrupoptional for sweetness

Instructions
Make the Drink
Pour 2 cups of room-temperature filtered water into a jar or pitcher. Add 1/4 teaspoon finely ground Himalayan pink salt and stir until dissolved.
Stir in 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice.
If desired, add 1 teaspoon raw honey or maple syrup, 1 inch of thinly sliced fresh ginger, a few mint leaves, or a dash of cayenne pepper.
Stir or shake for 10–15 seconds. Drink right away, or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes for a colder, infused flavor.
Pour into two 1-cup servings. Drink with a meal or whenever it fits your routine; there is no need to drink it on an empty stomach.
